I suspect that the mta (courieresmtp) isn't even
trying to read my /etc/courier/esmtproutes. How
can I
verify this?
By verifying that the format of that file is exactly
what the manual page
says should be.
I used webadmin, and recreated it at least a dozen
times, but here's the exact content for you to judge:
cat esmtproutes
: [196.25.240.94]
ls -l esmtproutes
-rw-r--r-- 1 daemon daemon 18 Jun 22
01:46 esmtproutes
tail /var/log/mail.log

I notice that the system clock is about 6 hours ahead.
I can't seem to convince knoppix of my timezone, or
that the CMOS clock is correct.
I hope this does'nt affect the solution to my smtp
problem.
Thanks
