186 from my @home network and arround 23.000 from my customers since I use my PostgreSQL to maintain there servers over it (In case of problems I can redirect all messages to my server)

What's your table schema look like? (Be sure to include your indexes.)

Note: The PostgreSQL is a separate server (AMD Athlon XP 3000+ with 3 GByte of memory and a GDT with three 36 GByte SCSI-Drives in Raid-1)

Presumably on the same LAN?
