Hi ,

If am not wrong you have to provide your base DN in the authldaprc file if I
have the filename correct and fill in the blanks for the binding credentials and
add the required attributes into the ldap server entries for users. It is
important that you carefully consider if you want to use plain text passwords or
encrypted passwords. Its also important to get the UID/GID numbers in the ldap
server entries. Read and follow the Courier Imap manual as well, it will tell
you more about this authentication module, otherwise it works fine (atleast on
Solaris 8).

If you have the base DN and the binding credentials correct the Imap server
will handle the queries to the system and perform the authentication.

Cheers,

Aly.
