Hi, I am a by-stander of this discussion. I used to run amd64 version but quite a lot app only run at i386, now I recall that there seems to be some issue about this and I couldn't get enable i386-compatible mode at that time, but seeing this, does this mean that all app now is able to run on amd64 without a problem?

thanks

I have Abiword2 working on my system. Usually, I use teTeX for most work. I just use Abiword to read other people's word docs.

Really? Huh. I was under the impression it didn't work so well... You learn something new every day!

Thanks!
