courier-imap-1.6.2.bz2 - 15k

I cast courier-imap on my laptop, then tried to use it (it's not essential to getting my mail, I just wanted to try out a webmail program). It refused my password on both IMAP and POP. Using the procedure Pam told me (tell her to allow anything and log everything), I found that courier-imap is not using Pam. I did an ldd which told me the same thing. I filed a bug report with SourceMage, thinking something is wrong with the spell, and I was told to come here. Here is the compile log. What is wrong? The versions are:

Section Spell Grimoire Version Installed Version ------- ----- ---------------- ----------------- utils Linux-PAM 0.75 0.75 mail courier-imap 1.6.2 1.6.2
