hi all,

i need some enlightenment.

following sam's advice on virtual domains (a few days ago), i reconfigured
courier with ldap only, and updated esmtpacceptmailfor and hosteddomains.

(case 1) -esmtpacceptmailfor: .domain.com

-hosteddomains: mail2.domain.com mail1.domain.com mail2.domain.com

now, mail for mail1 is accepted on mail2, but then, it doesn't seem to lookup
user info on ldap and return "user unknown", but this is probably not the setup
that i want, since it seems to do only an alias.

(case 2) if i do the following -hosteddomains: mail1.domain.com

then courier would tell me that "mail loops back to myself (mx problem)" this
is much closer to what i want, since i want to accept use@mail1.domain.com and
use@mail2.domain.com as 2 distinct users/different maildirs (but i am still
accepting both on host mail2.domain.com)

ok, probable dns problem?

i really need some enlightenment.

thx all, manuel
