Subject:[maildropl] Debugging authdaemondActions...

Hello, i've got a small issue with a authdaemond which i'm having trouble debugging. I've got a fairly standard postfix + authdaemond +mysql + courier-maildrop + courier-imap set up on slackware 10.2 .

I've had this system working until i tried to change the set up so as not to use a shared $HOME after discussions with the kind people on #courier

i'm getting this one error in /var/log/maillog

Feb 8 10:21:06 mail postfix/pipe[15993]: 20D33D5CB: to=<and@assertis.net>, relay=maildrop, delay=0, status=deferred (temporary failure. Command output: /usr/bin/maildrop: Temporary authentication failure. )

it doesn't actually say anymore than this, and there in nothing in the maildrop logs. i've tried setting maildrop and authdaemond as chmod u+s as i've seen in one of the mailling list archives for this mailing list. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.

I would appreciate some assistance in working out where i have gone wrong, or just getting a more verbose error to work with.

many thanks Andrew M
