Just a follow-up . . . The symptoms subsided for several weeks, but have returned with a slightly different flavor. It appears, from here, to be a caching issue. I have deleted one of my gadgets completely . . . when I create a new one and send it to the other user, the title is correct; but when they install the gadget, it appears just like another gadget I own.
