Im trying to install mysql++ 1.7.9 in a Solaris 8 environment

i run configure this way: ./configure --with-mysql=/export/home/sw/mysql --with-mysql-include=/export/home/sw/mysql/include --with-mysql-lib=/export/home/sw/mysql/lib

and im getting this message:

checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no ./configure: /export/home/sw/mysql/lib: cannot execute checking for MySQL library directory... configure: error: Didn't find the mysql library dir in ''

i have tried using gcc 2.95 and 3 without success
