Hi,

Have encountered a problem with MySQL Control Centre on Win XP pro.

All is fine so far with 0.8.10-beta on Redhat Linux 8.0 to local and linux to remote (Windows and Linux) and 0.8.10-beta on Win XP pro to my Windows 2000 advanced server.

When I connect from my Windows XP pro desktop to my Redhat Linux 8.0 server, I get the busy tcursor then a close non-responsive programm message for mysqlcc.exe.

When I go to my Redhat Linux server and try to conect wioth mysql I get an ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2). Stopping mysqld fails even on shutdown.

Ok on reboot.MySQLCC 0.8.10-beta on Linux redhat works ok. MySQL version is 3.32.54 on Linux and W2k.

I am logged in with administrators group priviledges, tried installing as administrator just in case, but I get the same error.
