As Sam has already said YOU DON'T NEED THOSE FILES. If authlib works
and authlib support is built into maildrop, it should work.
Yes, my bad, I didn't see that at the bottom of his email. So I can
delete the maildropmysql* files, then.
Run "maildrop -v" and see if authlib support is actually enabled.
# maildrop -v
maildrop 2.0.0 Copyright 1998-2005 Double Precision, Inc.
Courier Authentication Library extension enabled.
Maildir quota extension enabled.

License. See COPYING for additional information.
Run "ldd `which maildrop`". That will tell you if any libraries are
missing. Those files won't be in your path; they're libraries and
will be in places like /lib /usr/lib, among others.
[wenadmin@mail]% 11:37 # ldd `which maildrop`
/usr/local/bin/maildrop:
libcourierauth.so.0 =>
/usr/local/lib/courier-authlib/libcourierauth.so.0 (0x28096000)
libpcre.so.0 => /usr/local/lib/libpcre.so.0 (0x2809f000)
libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x280b6000)
libm.so.4 => /lib/libm.so.4 (0x28180000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x28196000)
So everything looks OK, but it still doesn't work. I tried uninstalling
the port and compiling from source, but it complains that it can't find
pcre.h (which is installed via ports). I am going to try wiping out the
entire maildrop port directory and the package in /var/db/pkg. Then
I'll get a fresh maildrop port directory and try to install it fresh.
