Which LDAP implementation does work with Courier?

Courier is developed and compiled against OpenLDAP. Of course, with LDAP being an standard Internet protocol, any compliant LDAP server will work, when the appropriate schema is correctly installed.

Courier may or may not compile with Sun's own LDAP client, whatever it's called.

Ah, yes.

I compiled against OpenLDAP libraries. But the resulting binary works just fine with MS Active Directory and Sun iPlanet.
