Sorry, I didn't mean to be funny. Sencha is one of the most stablished HTML RIA frameworks in the enterprise market. To give you an example, Adobe Day ECM is using it internally and is what you use to extend Day's built in widgets. They know what they do and I'm sure we can use their reasoning "against" using Flex to make Flex better product or at least to know what arguments do we have to expect when trying to sell it to the (confused and scared) potential clients.
