You should probably check out a proper ticketing system for this type of thing. I have used Cerberus Helpdesk (www.cerberusweb.com) in many sites and it is exceptionally good at handling any sort of mail queue where you have multiple people dealing with emails (sales@, support@, info@, etc.) and need to have auto-replies and/or mail management.
