Here is a sample application with a jsp, you will have to add FOP to the lib folder in order to make it work. The source of the servlet filter is included as well.

For now, the filter first retrieves the complete response before transforming it using Fop but i planned to improve it to make the transformation on the fly and optimize memory use. External graphics inside the webapp are supported.

There is no documentation at the moment.

Let me now if you have some ideas to improve it.

Hi all,

As i wanted to generate PDF documents from JSP, i wrote a Servlet Filter.

You just have to add the Servlet Filter to your webapp, then write some JSP with FO tags instead of HTML and specify "fop/pdf" as content-type and that's all.

If someone else is interested in this filter, i will be happy to help and contribute.
