You probably messed up the permissions (setuid) while copying. Use mv or cp -p

Thanks Roland but the permissions were the same of the original file in /usr/

lib/courier/libexec/courier/webmail. Say....read and execution for all and setuid for user. Is possible that error is in the webadmin.pl script? Thank you again for your reply.
