/usr/ports/www/cadaver is updated to 0.22.2 according to the makefile, but the only tarballs and .tgz's available are 0.22.1 (on FreeBSD.org) The master site is http://www.webdav.org/cadaver but it appears to be down.
There is no maintainer for the port.
Would it be appropriate to do a send-pr for this?
Yesh
How would one go about getting the latest version tarball and tgz onto ftp.freebsd.org?
That happens semi-automatically every few weeks.
What steps would I take to become the maintainer for this port?
Just assign yourself as maintainer in the patch when you send-pr. Thanks!

# $FreeBSD: ports/www/cadaver/Makefile,v 1.31 2004/11/28 22:35:36 perky Exp $
Looks like someone beat me to fixing it. Is it still possible for me to take ownership of it? *somewhat childish, but it's new and exciting territory for me* :)
