OK, Just for ease of understanding (There are many ways it can be done, but this is consitent with most of the howtos)
The home directory should contain the common part of the path, in your case, "/export/home/vmail/". The mailbox_path should contain "domain/username/". You do not need the "to" line in your global maildroprc to deliver to the default mailbox. If you need different home directories (like if one or the other is running chrooted) then create two home directory fields with different names or just symlink the path into the proper place in the chroot jail.
Thanks, Rob

I had two problems and I solved one of them. I still have one left:
maildropmysql.config states:
homedirectory - The location (full path including name) of the users home directory. This may be the same as the users maildir.
If I have one global maildroprc file with:
to "${HOME}Maildir/"
and I have in my mysql homedirectory field a full path like:
/export/home/vmail/domain/username/
the mail is delivered with no problem. However I do NOT have a full path in my homedirectory field (because of postfix and courier); I have a relative path in the form:
domain/username/
If I do something like:
BASE=/export/home/vmail to "${BASE}/${HOME}Maildir/
in maildroprc it does NOT get delivered. I get a "maildrop: Unable to change to home directory" error.
I just want to know one way or another whether I HAVE to have a full path in my homedirectory field or NOT. If I can't, I'll change the source.
Thanks for pursuing this Rob.

Still got the relative path problem:
Please define "the relative path problem". You seem to have found the answer to your question, then said you still have a problem. Please be specific as the others on the list are not sitting over your shoulder and seeing what you are seeing.
Thanks, Rob
