Thank you for your response.

However, I still get the same results, even using the latest version of maildrop. I skimmed over the files to see which file changes the permission mode. I found it in the dotlock.C, and does it mean that I have to somehow imply to use dotlock option for its compilation?

Another problem is I have to change the RESET_GID flag even using --enable-maildrop-gid=1 option. This is not big touble, but I wonder if config.h is the only file that I need to change this flag.
