Second, I don't remember at what point /etc/courier/maildroprc runs, but in my setup, I had to run spamassasin from the user's .mailfilter to actually get it to modify the message.

This may be what I need. Can you post a sample .mailfilter for reference?

I would be very interesting in any command line options to spamc and to spamd.

Also, what uid does .mailfilter run as?
