The last remaining Exchange functionality that's missing in Courier is calendaring. Obviously, this is something that's in the progress of being addressed. Once completed, all the major areas of functionality in Exchange can be implemented with Courier.

This is awesome. How can we help with implementing calendaring?

I hate to ask but is there a time scale on this?

Currently the mail team here is fighting a holding action against a management tosser who *insists* that Exchange is the *only* way to go. *We* know that the only way Exchange should go is to hell. We've built and demoed an exim/courier/squirrelmail/Corporate time system which does pretty much the same job as Exchange (except cheaper, better, more reliable etc) but its still not enough to wake this guy from his LSD induced version of reality.

If we can present a solution that does exactly what Exchange does in a simple package then we stand a chance of winning and keeping the staff here vaguely sane.

I've spent 10 months on this so I'll do anything to help: server testing, client testing (I've already spent a long time testing stuff and have set up most of the common clients). I'll dust off my C and write code if needed. We have a couple of Exchange servers I could compare Courier against too...

Mike, in the final throes of desperation.
