I prefer MARC:

It tends to be faster and more complete than the sourceforge archives. MARC has a searchable archive of many useful lists, and provides an excellent resource for researching issues (in addition to google and google groups).

Yes, no sooner had I sent the link about SF's archives than I tried a search and realized Sourceforge's archive search is broken at the moment :-( I've used MARC in the past also.
