It is also trying to deliver to mailbox instead of Maildirs. When I deliver to root, no problem (mailbox) but any other user - no go. Any ideas?

Here's what I did....

/usr/bin/maildrop -V9 -d <someuser> < /home/domain/user/Maildir/cur/1055100630.V26d04Iec807.mail.moorewebs.com :2,ST (Grab a message that you have received....)

IF YOU RUN AS the vmail user - the following output is correct.

maildrop: Changing to /home/vmail Message start at 0 bytes, envelope sender=vmail maildrop: Attempting .mailfilter Tokenized string: "LOGNAME" Tokenized = Tokenized tolower Tokenized ( Tokenized string: "$LOGNAME" Tokenized ) Tokenized ; Tokenized include Tokenized string: "/home/vmail/.mailfilters/$LOGNAME" Tokenized ; Tokenized eof .mailfilter(1): LOGNAME="vmail" .mailfilter(2): Opening include file /home/vmail/.mailfilters/vmail /usr/bin/maildrop: Unable to open include file.

Now try to pass it a user that is on the system.....

And you get Invalid user specified....
