Looked at your original message again... Try those aliases without any

Well, I tried that..... and then I downloaded courier-0.42.2.tar.bz2 from
courier-mta.org and upgraded. Postdata: still doesn't work. What can I do
now? I almost use Jeff Jansen's userdb approach for couriermlm, but
applied to Mailman, anyway, I'm only using authpgsql.
Any ideas?
As long as you've run "makealiases" with 0.42.2, it should be working.
Just to test this out, I've installed mailman on my courier server and
set it up:
1) ran /var/mailman/bin/newlist to create the "example" mail list.
2) set up aliases in /etc/courier/aliases/mailman:
[root@phantom]/var/mailman # cat /etc/courier/aliases/mailman
## example mailing list
## created: 22-May-2003 root
example: |/var/mailman/mail/wrapper post example
example-admin: |/var/mailman/mail/wrapper mailowner example
example-request: |/var/mailman/mail/wrapper mailcmd example
example-owner: example-admin
Note that this is exactly what mailman output for the aliases, minus the
quotes which Courier does not want.
3) ran "makealiases"
4) Signed up on the web interface:
http://dragonsdawn.net/mailman/listinfo/example
5) replied to the confirmation message I recieved
6) sent a message to the list itself.
Everything works. From the log:
