Subject:[maildropl] Maildrop .mailfilter file permissions? Using web interface for filter creation?Actions...

Hi.

I have looked and thought this has to be answered many times, but do not find a good response.

I want to use squirrelmail to allow users to set up their own .mailfilters. None of my users are real-- all virtual. I do not use vpopmail but rather postfix+mysql w/ virtual users.

Currently maildrop does not like permissions on the .mailfilter file other than user permissions (which user = virtual user uid.gid combination).

Any way to modify this protection scheme so that a user, (i.e. apache) could be used to modify the filters. That way a user on squirrelmail could store his .mailfilter directly?

Sunil
