Hello

Thanks all for your prompt reply. I am using advanced authenication and quote from my previous example (refer to last mail), I don't want Mary to see other DB except tri. I have just grant her privileges only on tri DB, but she can see trial now although she has no right to do anything. I know that this can be set in config file, but it is very inconvinence if I have many user or DB. I have only set select privilege on only tri, that mean Mary can only see tri, but nows she can see trial db also. what can I do?

Really thanks for your help !!

Maggie

Also, if you look in the config file you'll see an option just below the username and password to only show the database that the user has access to

You can see ALL databases through phpMyAdmin...you can only alter the ones that you have rights for.

Hello

I have installed it and find that it's really powerful except for the following big bug. If there are several databases (eg. trial, tri), and I grant any priviliges on tri.* to Mary, then in the webpage, Mary can see not only the tri DB, but also the trial DB, although she has no priviliges on it. But is it possible not show trial to Mary?

Thanks !! and waiting for your reply.

Maggie
