Hi JoAnn,
My guess is that you have a different login/password for your STC account than your Comtech account. Since the ballot closes tonight and I don't know if you have that other login/password handy, I'll go ahead and register a proxy vote for you.
Regards,
Mary

Mary and Paul, I cannot figure out how to vote for STC. Anyone have any ideas? The page says I've already voted. JoAnn

Mary,
I see that JoAnn Hackos has voted for DocBook 4.5 in the name of ComTech.
But JoAnn Hackos is also listed as the voting principle for Society for Technical Communication which is listed as not voting.
I submit that OASIS makes this too confusing, and that if JoAnn voted for it for ComTech, she certainly meant to vote for it for STC, so we should also count STC as voting in favor of this ballot.
JoAnn, if you read this email before midnight Saturday and can figure out how to cast a vote for STC, please do so.

Hi everyone,
Please note that Kavi calculation is not accurate -- 15% of 357 is 52.05, meaning that you need 53 votes ... I did mention on the TAB call earlier today that two ballots were in jeopardy of failing due to insufficent votes and urged any voting members to vote ...

Mary has to make the final announcement, of course, and I suppose that 53 or more companies could suddenly vote "no", but it seems likely that with 52 members voting yes (15% of the membership) and no members voting no as of 15:51 EDT, our ballot for DocBook V4.5 will pass.
:-)
Be seeing you, norm
