I'd like to propose the attached patch. What it does is make an attempt to figure out what the default maildir name is and puts the correct value in the .rc files.

I needed this because I've renamed Maildir to .Maildir for my users. The checking that I've provided work if the qmail installation includes /var/qmail/defaultdelivery/rc. I'm sure other approaches will be needed for other setups, but it's a start.
