I'm trying to use my WG511T Netgear WiFi NIC on HP nx9005 notebook, but couldn't make it run at all.
After inserting card, I get:
Interrupt storm detected on "irq11: cbb0 cbb1+"; throttling interrupt source ath0: <Atheros 5212> mem 0x88000000-0x8800ffff irq 11 at device 0.0 on cardbus1 ath0: Ethernet address: 00:0f:b5:26:a8:92 ath0: mac 5.9 phy 4.3 radio 4.6
After "ifconfig ath0 up", notebook freezes for 5/6 sec. spamming console with errors:
ath0: hardware error; resetting ath0: hardware error; resetting ath0: hardware error; resetting ath0: hardware error; resetting
Switching off ACPI doesn't produce this error, but card can't find AP with "no carrier". I would very appreciate if somebody has any advices and tips to fix it.
I forgot to note, it everything happens on FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT built on Aug 17.

Did it work on any previous builds? My 5212 ath woks fine with a build from the 13th. ath0: <Atheros 5212> mem 0x88000000-0x8800ffff irq 10 at device 0.0 on cardbus0 ath0: [GIANT-LOCKED] ath0: Ethernet address: 00:0d:54:98:a8:35 ath0: mac 5.6 phy 4.1 5ghz radio 1.7 2ghz radio 2.3 This is a 3com CRPAG175. Why don't I see any ghz info in yours? Could a 'faulty' radio produce both of your error messages, I wonder? Isn't there a radio on/off switch somewhere? What about ifconfig's txpower switch or powersave? Just shoot'n. Did this card EVER work? Dylan
