In a Rails project, shouldn't the libraries be put into public/javascript instead of public/resources? Of course, the library manager should play well with the existing libraries in that folder.

I think some of the libraries are not in the correct format to be used in public/javascript for Rails projects, which is why the default location is not there. Is there documentation on how the public/javascript folder works in
Rails?
