Hi,
I think we can amend the motion that TC can remove chapter 4 in future, if the normal majority (not super majority) of the TC thinks if it was too time consuming to maintain/enhance chapter 4.
I guess that kind of fits Danny's idea? Thanks.

My point was that if there is enough pain in keeping chapter 4 in sync then it should not be a problem to get a super-majority for any revision of this motion. So the normal TC process can handle it.

Subject: [sca-bpel] Issue 1 motion/amendments from today's call
Due to lack of time we tabled the main motion and amendment. Since we did not have consensus on the amendment, I would encourage folks to discuss this on the mailing list. We'll take this up again next week.
main motion: leave chapter 4 as-is and mark it as non-normative, keep chapter 4 in sync with the rest of the spec
amendment: If the work of keeping chapter 4 in sync is too onerous then we remove chapter 4 (support for BPEL 1.1)
