I am a newbie to Perforce so forgive me if the answer is more obvious than it appears to me.

Say I have added a new file to my client but forgot to add the new file to my changelist. Is there a way I can compare the contents of the depot with the contents of my client workspace so that I can spot files added to the client?

Visual Sourcesafe has a similar function. Most CVS clients I remember seem to do it. It seems strange that Perforce would not - but maybe I am missing something.

I guess I could just go home and see if the build engineer sends me a nasty email when he cant compile. But why antagonise him?
