Hi,

Complete beginner here, looking into the idea of developing a gadget. I downloaded Google Desktop which seems to work on my Mac (10.4.5) then downloaded the SDK. But when I double-click on gadget.manifest in the copy of HelloWorld it opens as a TextEdit file instead of launching an installation dialog box.

In the documentation it shows a Windows-style dialog box so I'm wondering if the SDK is intended to be used on a Mac at all.

If it is, I'll keep on trying to get things to work. I just don't want to be heading down a dead-end road!
