I have just installed maildrop with Postfix on a Solaris 8 machine.
I keep getting the same message in the logs, but I can't figure out what
is causing the error, and why the messages are getting deferred.
Jan 10 16:21:17 mail postfix/local[2413]: [ID 197553 mail.info]
CD41F39ACE: to=<email>, relay=local, delay=39, status=deferred
(temporary failure. Command output: maildrop: signal 0x1F )
Is there a way to set debugging or verbose logging for maildrop when
it is running using -d?
This seems to be a bigger problem the I initially though. It seems 90%
of the message are being deferred with this error for this one user,
though I don't see a reason why these messages keep getting deferred,
and I do not see a definition for signal 0x1F in the FAQ, on this lits
archive, or via a google search. No other use seems to be effected, but
the only difference between the uses is that this user is the only one
that has used IMAP to get their mail. None of the other users have
accessed their mail on the new server, but I can not see how that would
effect maildrop's delivery. Is there a list of signal outputs and their
meanings for maildrop?
0x1f == 31
