Thanks for your efforts in creating this! At my site I'm not using mysql
and virutal users. All users have their own uid. I'm using postfix
1.1.11 + maildrop 1.5.0 + courier-imap 1.6.0.20021025 + SquirrelMail 1.2.9 .
If I understand you correctly it is possible for me to let the users
update their ~/.mailfiler from inside SquirrelMail with my setup, or do
I need using mysql + virtual users?
To the problem with the need of uid.gid = apache/http, I know SqWebMail
let their users to adjust their ~/.mailfilter , but in SqWebMail the
file ~/.mailfilter does not need to be own by uid.gid = apache/http , or
have I missed something? :)
Anyway, it would be _GREAT_ if you migrated the code to become a
SquirrelMail plugin! :)
The one downside is that the users need to all use uid.gid = apache/http
or whatever user process you use for your web server.

The filters plugin has been written to allow for modules to be created for
maildrop or any other filter program (so that someone coudl, for instance,
create one for maildrop w/o the need for mysql or virtual users, etc).

Please give me any feedback you can if you use it. EVentually I will
migrate it to be a plugin on the squirrelmail site if enough people think
it is useful.
