I've only seen it when posting Picasa comments, although it is happening consistently. I can't figure out why the comment would still get posted if I get a 500 error response. Also something I noticed is that there is no delay anymore between posting the comment and seeing the comment in the feed. There used to be a 3 minute delay or so (although comments would be immediately visible on Picasaweb). I'm not sure what changed but that's pretty awesome.

Hi all,
Are there any particular feeds that are consistently giving 500 errors? I believe there are a couple issues to be shaken out due to some backend work we are doing. The good news is that this work should enable us to close out some of our remaining feature requests.
Cheers, -Jeff

Just to add my two-cents worth, I have seen some strange error 500's today as well.
I say strange because they are being generated by one workstation but not another. I have been focusing on the workstation in question, but when I saw this message I thought I'd chime in.
FYI, I've seen the errors when requesting photo lists.

For at least today (maybe the last few days) I've gotten an Error 500: Internal Server Error from Google whenever I post Picasa comments through the API, but strangely the comments are still getting posted just fine. So my visitors are greeted with "There was an error posting the comment" (which is just the message I put in my Catch statement) and their newly posted comment right above that. My code has been working for months and hasn't changed so I'm not sure what to attribute it to. Is there a known problem currently? I can certainly supply more information, I just thought I would check to see if there was a known problem first.
Thanks, Cameron
