Although FreeMascon does give you most of Mascon's functions, to do full security management you should try Mascon see: http://www.scibit.com/Mascon or one of the other GUI's (http://www.mysql.com/downloads/contrib.html) that allows full GUI security management. I just installed a copy of Free Mascon today and was wondering how I can fill up password columns using mysql's password function. I've thus far been unable to figure out how to execute a custom statement (without going through the whole query creation hassle.... these will only be used once)
