I was noticing the same thing, I started to have some show up again (not all though) and then it started only showing 2-3 again. Two are still nowhere to be found via searching.

I was just hoping it was still serving old pages from different server clusters and it will get better over the next day or two, but still not sure myself.

Cheers! Vision Jinx

Hello,

I believe the fix to search issues will be going live within a couple of days (hopefully tomorrow, but I'm not sure). Once that is live, we can evaluate whether any of the other odd behavior persists and see if more fixes are necessary.

Best, Dan

Before my gadget with the least users was the only one showing for a bit, but now I am totally gone! Even specific ones like my W3C Validator gadget >>http://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=w3c

Additionally, I find it strange thathttp://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=podcast andhttp://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=feed+reader andhttp://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=blogger

returns others Except mine? What gives? Seems like I am totally dropped/banned form all results? (and those keywords are right in my gadgets title and descriptions)

When I clicked the about this gadget link on one of my gadgets I still see them in my author page, but Google has totally dropped them from ALL searches now. Things seem to be getting worse not better. This really sucks Google! :-(

Hello all,

We've identified an issue with the directory search, and are working on a fix. It will be about a week before the change is visible, though. This will, hopefully, address everyone's issues.

Hey group,

How many others are getting really frustrated with the Gadgets Directory?

I am now not able to find most of my gadgets in there even if I search for my name or a specific title (none of them are inlined gadgets).

When I am able to find one (only two seem to ever show now) I can click on the author link (ig/authors?author=) and see them in there, but seems the search is omitting pretty much everything and only returning 8 results found for a search like "feed reader" which should return quite a few results including mine.

Not only that, but the stats are very confusing (and mis-leading) and not useful to developers being TLD specific and so on.... things really seem to be taking a steep downward spiral. I just don't get why is Google (being the worlds largest search engine) having so many issues with a directory search?

Additionally, I sometimes feel like we are a bunch of guinea pigs in a test lab with all the unpredictability lately. It can be really frustrating not having a stable platform (to some degree). Some of these changes really come as a blind side to some developers and they usually take the first brunt of emails when unknown changes affect gadgets. I am not suggesting stopping progress or advancement (of course), but a better roll out, testing and notification strategy needs to happen or something.

Anyone else feeling the pain here?
