I don't think the problem is curves, I made tons of models made up of
mostly curves, spheres, etc.
I recall when the TOS blueprints were published, it started a lot of
intrest in an already tech-orinented fan base. Others started to
publish their own drawings of the bridge & other ships. It's easy to
reference them and get all the measurements, etc. needed to make SU
copies.
TNG was born out of a different era where fans have Internet &
computer able to make 3D stuff. I know there's web sites dedicated to
starship models.
Before I would even start on a model of the bridge, I would grab as
much information about it. Blueprints, drawings, even photos (freeze
some DVDs to get a still shot) I know that the original set for the
TNG bridge is in a museum in Hollywood. If you visit, bring a tape
measure!

Hi -
Just wondered if anyone here has attempted the "Bridge" from the USS
Enterprise from ST: The Next Generation. I have started on one, and
am somewhat daunted by all the curves. Anyone have something they
have started and want to collaborate?
