You wouldn't be able to use the registry for saving those values because all the daemons would use the same values (which isn't what you want). The options CAN be specified on the command line of p4d in the service manager.

The only concern I have with this is the modifications Perforce makes to the registry for P4PORT, P4ROOT, etc. I would like all of this to be managed in the same way, it saves the possibility of human error . . .
