In order have a high-availability solution for hosting perforce, I am considering using an NT-Clustering solution: 2 NT Server Enterprise Edition connected to a dual-hosted RAID box (compaq).

I am not sure exactly how NT-Clustering works; but I am told both NT machines can respond to a single IP address. I am not sure if both machines have their own IP address and use some kind of proxy to respond to a single IP address.

I have a few questions:

1. Has anyone in the perforce community done this or other high-availilability configuration? What was the solution/experience?

2. How will this work with perforce's IP based licensing?

Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated...
