That is the problem. All it does is simply sit, going up to 100% CPU utilization. I have to end process to clear it up. There is no error, except for when it broke the first time.
If I could get a list of the dlls that it installs, then I can manually delete them and reinstall.

I had this problem a few days ago on WinXP but all I did was reinstalled without a reboot and it worked fine. If you get another error message, write down the name of the dll file it gives you, if it does at all, and do a search for it. Once you've located the file, delete it. It should be in the windows or system32 directories. Then, reinstall mysqlcc and see if you can open it.

I had installed MySQL CC on a Windows 2000 PC. It ran pretty good. Yesterday, it abended with some error, an address violation. It closed itself. Afterwards, I noticed that it would not open. At first, I thought I did not start it. After clicking on it to start, nothing showed. I checked Task Manager and I could see the process had started in processes. However, in Applications, it did not show anything. I uninstalled/reinstalled it (rebooting in between) and still the same thing. I left it installed and tried to installing it. It prompted me for a repair. I chose the repair. Still no luck. There must be a dll that has gone bad.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I really enjoyed using this.
