Hi.
Based on some feedback from people, please note the following changes:
(1) Now there is support for maildrop for both virtual and for local
users. If using the local user setup, you need to have ftp support in php
and also your ftp server needs to have ability to send a chmod command.
(2) Cleanup so that less file saves are done (only if real updates to the
file are needed).
(3) Options in setup.php updated to allow for switches between using SQL
based queries, local queries, user side filters or server side filters.
Currently virtual users still require gid.uid = web server user, however,
I guess if someone uses a user with login shell privileges as the base of
all their virtual users, then they could modify (or I could) to allow
ftp's even for virtual users, disengaging the http user dilemma.
Oh, and I have added more filter options. Please note if you have
specific filter options you want, you can simply edit the filterlist[]
array and add whatever options you like in maildrop.php, and also modify
the switch to the extent the default string written to .mailfilters is not
appropriate.
Again, please send more feedback to me. If things go well, I will release
this on the squirrelmail plugin page in the next few days.
Best regards.
Sunil
