I really doubt that setting this header has any effect and if it this is the case, it is wrong and should be fixed.

- <header>s configure... http headers (see http://webtest.canoo.com/webtest/manual/header.html) with one side effect: the user agent configures the browser htmlunit should simulate

- the way a refresh meta tag is handled is configured with the config's autorefresh property: http://webtest.canoo.com/webtest/manual/config.html

- if you mean option (instead of header), this wouldn't have any effect either as Htmlunit's WebClient hasn't any setFollowRedirect method

Therefore I maintain that <header name="followRedirects" value="true" /> has no (interesting) effect.
