I think I've done everything I'm supposed to do. I can send and receive emails from sqWebMail. I can connect via Imap to read messages. But I can't connect from MS Outlook Express to the Pop3D server. I'm testing from my fixed IP address. The server is behind a firewall, but the firewall allows my fixed IP address in. The error I get says that the Outlook Express client cannot make a socket connection to the server. The specific wording is

"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail02.arcompanies.net', Server: 'mail02.arcompanies.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

This wording implies that the problem is with the connection to the SMTP server on port 25, not POP3 on 110.

Fix the firewall to allow SMTP connections as well (for outgoing mail) or configure Outlook to use an SMTP or other server that you are able to connect to.

And furthermore it also says that it is expecting to make a SSL connection which also may be part of your problem.
