Normally everthing is fine. But sometimes (maybe 1 of 1000 emails) the download of an emails stops at a certain position. This occured using linux fetchmail or MS outlook or maybe further pop clients.

I have heard the same thing from one of my users since moving from qmail to courier. After I went through and manually cleaned a bunch of spam out of her maildir, she was again able to download mail. This was with some version of outlook express (probably 6) and courier 0.42.

On occasion, I had noticed similar things myself, still when I was running qmail (but a different MUA).

Thus, I wonder if the problem is with courier, or with weird implementations in MUAs. Time will tell before I get more suspicious of courier.
