Subject:[maildropl] Invalid UserActions...

OK, I am trying to get maildrop v2.01 to work with virtual users using MySQL. I compiled maildrop using "WITH_AUTHLIB=yes". I have set maildrop to setuid root. When I do a "maildrop -d us@example.com" I get "Invalid user specified". Tailing the mysql.log shows it isn't even querying the mysql db. I have placed files named maildropmysql.cf and maildropmysql.config in various directories (/etc; /etc/maildrop; /usr/local/etc; /usr/local/etc/maildrop) containing the proper config statements (copied from a server where maildrop is working; on that server the file is named maildropmysql.config, but I have seen references to maildropmysql.cf and so I tried that file name too).

If I do a "authtest us@example.com USERPASS", I get a good response (showing various info about us@example.com). I can log into the accounts with Courier-IMAP via IMAP and POP3.

I have done a ktrace on the "maildrop -d us@example.com" command and didn't find any place where it was looking for a maildropmysql.* file. I do see it looking for files named nss_*.so.1 that it can't seem to find in the path, so I figure that is most likely the problem. What are those files related to? What do I need to install/reinstall to get these files? Examples are nss_nis.so.1 and nss_compat.so.1.

How can I tell which maildropmysql* file maildrop is looking for?

TIA,

-DH
