I am experiencing the same problem. If I disable email indexing the problem goes away.

When I have Google Desktop running, Microsoft Outlook will start failing (after 3 to 5 messages read) to allow me to read email with the following message:

"This message with restricted permission cannot be viewed in the reading pane until you verify your credentials. Open the item to read its contents and verify your credentials."

I can close and reopen Outlook to read another several messages, or I can exit Google Desktop, and I can once again read messages in Outlook.
