Trillian :)

1) Welcome to the internet. We don't top-quote here. http://ursine.ca/Top_Posting

2) Trillian doesn't really work that well, even if you have the pro version¹. The bajillion-protocol, 1-client approach does not work. We went through this ten years ago with email, which is why SMTP and POP won that war: It was the open standard. Google recognizes this, which is why they chose XMPP for Google Talk's protocol to begin with. In 10 years, we're going to wonder what the hell Cerulean and the GAIM developers were smoking for the same reason.

¹ I run my own Jabber server, and 90% of my time is dealing with supporting Trillian users. Cerulean Studios is not concerned about bugs, only taking your money then laughing at you when you have a problem. Don't use Trillian, consider it harmful.
