I have just begun researching the Google Base Data API with the intent of building an application for my customers to be able easily upload their products directly from their databases to google. With most of them planning to use the "google checkout" as well.

However, I have not found any references to a "Test" server. ie: I don't want to upload real data to the LIVE google server while I am testing/building my application. Is there a test server I can point to? It seems such a common thing, I must be missing this information somewhere. Verisign, FedEx, UPS all provide a TEST services server for developers to use.

Forgive me if this is answered somewhere easily accessible, but I did search first.
